JSC2003-E-60922 (18 October 2003) --- Astronaut C. Michael Foale (left), Expedition 8 mission commander and NASA ISS science officer, and cosmonaut Alexander Y. Kaleri, Soyuz commander and flight engineer, don their spacesuits with the assistance of technicians at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan prior to their departure for the launch pad with European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Pedro Duque (out of frame) of Spain.
