JSC2004-E-21250 (30 April 2004) --- Cosmonaut Alexander Y. Kaleri, Soyuz flight engineer representing Russia’s Federal Space Agency, is carried in a chair from the Soyuz landing site to an inflatable medical tent after he and his crewmates, astronaut C. Michael Foale (out of frame), Expedition 8 commander and NASA ISS science officer, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Andre Kuipers (out of frame) of the Netherlands, successfully landed in north central Kazakhstan on April 30, 2004, in their Soyuz TMA-3 capsule. Foale and Kaleri completed 195 days in space aboard the International Space Station (ISS), while Kuipers returned after an 11-day research mission as part of a commercial agreement between ESA and Russia’s Federal Space Agency.
