Padalka (left), Expedition 9 commander representing Russia's Federal Space Agency; Bob McCormick, lead planner for Expedition 9; Flight Director Matt Abbott; and astronaut Edward M. (Mike) Fincke, NASA ISS science officer and flight engineer, pose for a photograph in the Station (Blue) Flight Control Room (BFCR) in Houston’s Mission Control Center (MCC). McCormick and Abbott were holding the Soyuz TMA-4 insignia plaque, which was later placed on the wall in the control room.
