 high res (0.3 M) low res (111 K) | JSC2004-E-16342 (March 2004) --- Tests of Robonaut’s ability were conducted on the Precision Air-Bearing Floor in Johnson Space Center’s (JSC) Space Vehicle Mockup Facility. Robonaut was mounted to a pressurized air sled, which allowed teleoperators to emulate some of the conditions of weightlessness. The Robonaut Project is a collaborative effort with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and has been under development at JSC for several years. |
