JSC2000-E-18567 (8 July 2000)--- Following the vertical rotation of the Zvezda Service Module/ Proton Rocket stack at Launch Pad 23, Launch Complex 81 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, final touches were applied in preparation for the July 12 launch. Zvezda is the newest component of the International Space Station.
