![]() low res (63 K) | JSC2003-E-31967 (5 May 2002) --- Soyuz TM-33 spacecraft, slowed greatly by a parachute, nears landing not far from the town of Arkalyk, Kazakhstan, to put the final touches on a successful Soyuz 4 ISS Taxi mission. Landing occurred at 7:52 a.m. Moscow time. Onboard were Yuri Gidzenko, commander; Roberto Vittori, flight engineer; and space flight participant Mark Shuttleworth of South Africa. Gidzenko is with Rosaviakosmos and Vittori represents the European Space Agency (ESA). |
