This video is an animation of the detachment of the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module and stowage in Space Shuttle Endeavourís cargo bay during STS-108.
MPEG Video Format (1.0 M)
This video is an animation depicting the locations of two International Space Station beta motors that space walkers will cover with thermal blankets. The mechanisms -- which move the stationís solar arrays -- are located on the P6 Truss.
MPEG Video Format (1.4 M)
This video is an animation describing vehicle activities that are scheduled to occur prior to Space Shuttle Endeavourís docking with the International Space Station during STS-108. A Soyuz spacecraft departed the station on Oct. 30, 2001, with a three-member taxi crew aboard. An uncrewed Progress resupply vessel undocked Nov. 22 and was maneuvered away from the station by remote control. Another Progress is scheduled to dock Nov. 28 bearing fresh supplies and food for the station. Finally, Endeavour is scheduled to dock with the station in December, bringing the Expedition Four crew and returning the Expedition Three crew to Earth.
MPEG Video Format (2.1 M)
This video is an animation of the Starshine 2 deployment that will occur during Flight Day 11 on STS-108. The satellite will be deployed from a Hitchhiker canister in Space Shuttle Endeavourís payload bay. During the satellite's mission, sunlight reflecting from the mirrors will be visible to the naked eye during morning and evening twilight hours. Teams of school students will visually track the satellite and note the times that it passes between selected pairs of targeted stars.
MPEG Video Format (1.0 M)
This video is an animation showing the point at which Space Shuttle Endeavour attaches to the International Space Station.
MPEG Video Format (1.6 M)
This video is an animation depicting the configuration of the International Space Station as Space Shuttle Endeavour arrives during STS-108. The primary mission of STS-108 is to deliver the Expedition Four crew and return the Expedition Three crew to Earth. In addition, supplies will be delivered to the station using the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module.
MPEG Video Format (1.2 M)
This video is an animation depicting the configuration of the International Space Station during STS-108. The Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module is shown in the location where it is to be installed during the mission, but Space Shuttle Endeavour is not shown.
MPEG Video Format (1.1 M)
This video is an animation of the installation process for the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module, including its removal from Discovery's cargo bay and installation onto the International Space Station during STS-108.
MPEG Video Format (1.5 M)
This video is an animation depicting the configuration of Space Shuttle Endeavourís cargo bay, including the Orbiter Docking System, Get-Away Special canisters and Hitchhiker Bridge Assembly.
MPEG Video Format (1.7 M)
This video is an animation depicting the configuration of Space Shuttle Endeavourís cargo bay, including the Starshine canister and the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module.
MPEG Video Format (1.4 M)
This video is an animation of Space Shuttle Endeavourís rendezvous and docking with the International Space Station during STS-108. The primary mission of STS-108 is to deliver the Expedition Four crew and return the Expedition Three crew to Earth. In addition, supplies will be delivered to the station using the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module.
MPEG Video Format (1.4 M)
This video is an animation of Space Shuttle Endeavour undocking from the International Space Station during STS-108. The fly around of the station is included in this animation.
MPEG Video Format (2.2 M)
