S69-60881 (November 1969) --- A close-up view of lunar sample number 12,062, which is under observation in the Manned Spacecraft Center's Lunar Receiving Laboratory. The sample, collected during the second Apollo 12 extravehicular activity (EVA), is a medium-grained rock with lath-shaped crystals of feldspar and pyroxene. It contains vugs (holes) with crystals growing in them (note right side of exposed portion).
