JSC2004-E-27786 (24 June 2004) --- Eight new NASA astronaut candidates and three JAXA trainees pose for a group photo during water survival training at Pensacola Naval Air Station. From the left, kneeling, are JAXA astronauts Akihiko Hoshide and Naoko Yamazaki; Shannon Walker, Mission Specialist; Joseph M. Acaba, Educator Mission Specialist; and JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa.
