JSC2004-E-38926 (23-26 August 2004) --- NASA astronaut candidates Robert L. Satcher Jr. (left), Shannon Walker, Robert S. Kimbrough and Richard R. Arnold II settle into their overnight shelter during 2004 ASCAN land survival training in the wilderness of Maine. The shelter was made using a parachute and tying it to a nearby tree using the cording from the chute. The team also used evergreen boughs on the shelter floor to further insulate them from the cold.
