JSC2003-E-54237 (19 August 2003) --- A closeup view reveals the gloved hand of an astronaut onboard a KC-135 zero-gravity aircraft as he uses a tool to remove excess material from a simulated Shuttle tile repair surface. A number of astronauts have participated in similar tests of candidate techniques for extravehicular activity (EVA) repair tasks.
