RTF Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2004-E-50857 (17 November 2004) --- The Space Shuttle Program Mission Management Team conducts training from the Mission Control Center in preparation for Discovery's Return to Flight mission (STS-114). Seated in foreground, from the left (excluding partially cropped person), are Loren Shriver, deputy program manager of operations for the United Space Alliance (USA) Space Shuttle Program; Laurie Hansen, deputy director of Engineering; Steve Poulos, manager, Orbiter Project Office; N. Wayne Hale, deputy manager, Space Shuttle Program; and Vince Watkins, Shuttle Mission Management Team executive secretary. Ben Pawlik, a manager of the Space Shuttle Mission Evaluation Room, approaches the group at frame center. The new MMT Command Center provides NASA-wide videoteleconferencing capability as well as web-based briefing chart review during meetings.
