S98-05705 (9 April 1998) --- Cosmonaut Valery V. Ryumin (front)and astronaut Franklin R. Chang-Diaz, both attired in training versions of the shuttle launch and entry garment, participate in a training session in the Crew Compartment Trainer (CCT-2)in the systems integration facility. The two mission specialists, seated in training versions of temporary mid deck seats, were simulating procedures that would be performed by the various crew members during a launch or landing of the Space Shuttle. Ryumin represents the Russian Aviation and Space Agency.
