JSC2008-E-026940 (17 March 2008) --- Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Koichi Wakata, Expedition 18 flight engineer, gives a "thumbs-up" signal as he is about to begin a training session in the waters of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near Johnson Space Center. Wakata is attired in a training version of the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) spacesuit. JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi (support crew member) assisted Wakata.
