JSC2011-E-050237 (1 June 2011) --- At his crew quarters outside the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, Expedition 28 flight engineer, exercises in the weight room June 1, 2011 as he prepares for launch June 8 (Baikonur time) on the Soyuz TMA-02M spacecraft for the International Space Station. Furukawa, along with Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov, Soyuz commander; and NASA astronaut Mike Fossum, flight engineer, will spend almost six months on the orbital outpost.
