JSC2011-E-050703 (3 June 2011) --- At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, Expedition 28 flight engineer, signs a wall in the Baikonur cosmonautics museum June 3, 2011. The signing marked one of the final ceremonial activities prior to his scheduled launch June 8, Baikonur time, in the Soyuz TMA-02M spacecraft with cosmonaut and Soyuz commander Sergei Volkov and NASA astronaut Mike Fossum, flight engineer, to the International Space Station.
