JSC2011-E-218805 (23 Dec. 2011) --- Screens in the space station flight control room of JSC's Mission Control Center are the means by which a team of flight controllers (out of frame) were able to keep visual contact with the International Space Station and its freshly revised six-person crew on Dec. 23. The team monitored activity aboard the orbital outpost during rendezvous and docking operations of the station and the Soyuz TMA-03M spacecraft and later when the two three-person components of the Expedition 30 crew reunited. The Soyuz delivered Flight Engineers Oleg Kononenko, Andre Kuipers and Don Pettit to the station. Already onboard were Expedition 30 Commander Dan Burbank and Flight Engineers Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin. The six can be seen on the screen in the front of the FCR as they communicate with flight controllers. Photo credit: NASA
