 December 15, 2001 --- After eight days of docked operations during STS-108, the International Space Station and Endeavour crews said goodbye. Departing Expedition Three crewmembers Frank Culbertson, Mikhail Tyurin and Vladimir Dezhurov each said a few words and gave a small Christmas tree to the Expedition Four crew.

 December 15, 2001 --- After eight days of docked operations during STS-108, Space Shuttle Endeavour departs from the International Space Station. Pilot Mark Kelly and Mission Specialist Linda Godwin are shown at the aft flight deck commanding the separation, and the station's docking adapter is viewed through the shuttle's overhead windows as the distance between the shuttle and station grows.
